District Attorney Daniella M. Shorter announces the conviction of RAVEN MICKEL for Malicious Mischief.


On January 27, 2025, Raven Mickel appeared before the honorable Judge Tomika H. Irving in Copiah County Circuit Court and plead guilty to the aforementioned charge.


Judge Irving withheld acceptance of the plea of guilty to said charge. Ms. Mickle has been placed in the District Attorney’s Pretrial Intervention Program for a period of three (3) years.


If she fails to complete the Pretrial Intervention Program, Mickle’s faces up to Five

(5) years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Mickle was ordered to pay restitution to Russell Wooten in the amount of One Thousand Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,500.00), Three Thousand and Six Hundred Dollars ($3,600.00) to the District Attorney's Office for administrative fees, Court costs in the amount of Four Hundred and Twenty Seven Dollars and Fifty Cents ($427.50), and a bond fee in the amount of Two Hundred and Ten Dollars ($210.00).
