District Attorney Daniella Shorter-Levy announced the conviction of Quendarious Foster for the crime of accessory after the fact to the felony crime of shooting into a dwelling.
Foster was sentenced by Judge Tomika H. Irving to serve three (3) years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections with three (3) years suspended, and one (1) year of supervised probation. Also, he was ordered to pay court costs of $427.50, a $150.00 investigative fee to the District Attorney’s Office, and $100.00 to the Crime Victim’s Compensation Fund.
On November 6, 2022, Deondre Marshall was shot in the shoulder while he was at
his home in Port Gibson, Mississippi. During the investigation of this matter by the
Claiborne County Sheriff’s Department, it was learned that a group of boys got into
an alleged altercation with Dailyn Alexander at a convenience store. Quendarious
Foster was one of the boys in this group. After this argument, Foster and the group
of boys pursued Alexander in their car and the other guys in the car started shooting
at Alexander as he approached Deondre Marshall’s home. As a result of this
shooting, bullets were fired into the home of Marshall, and he was shot. Based on
the findings of this investigation, it was determined that Foster helped conceal the
weapon used in the shooting from the police and Foster pled guilty to the charge of
accessory after the fact to the felony crime of shooting into a dwelling.
